How to participate in a fixed-price auction
For Mobile Devices:
Visit https://app.bounce.finance/ and connect your wallet.
If you already know an auction you want to participate, you can directly visit the auction pool link (if you have it) or you can search the auction pool by auction pool name, token address, auction creator username or user ID.
Make sure to double check the auction pool information and confirm that you enter the right pool.
There are three types of pool status:
Upcoming: The auction is not live yet. Be sure to set a reminder so you don't miss it.
Live: The auction is ongoing and you can place bids
Closed: The auction is closed and you can no longer participate
3. Once you click into an auction pool page, you will see the auction information in detail. Pay attention to the items mentioned below to ensure you enter the correct pool:
Pool ID and creator
Token contract address
Token price
Additionally if the token is verified on Coingecko, there will be a coingecko icon next to the token contract address, but note that even though token have same ticker, can be a fake token, so please check token contract address directly.
Once the auction goes live, you can place bids by entering the amount of allocation you want to purchase. The allocation is on a first come first serve basis. Make sure you have enough funding currency in your wallet.
After clicking "Place a Bid", you'll be asked to confirm that you've checked the following information. Check all boxes and click "Confirm and continue" to proceed.
Then Bounce will request your wallet interaction. Sign and confirm your transaction. Once your transaction is completed, it'll show that you joined the auction pool and you can see the bid you placed in Auction History.
If an auction is popular, you need to place you bid fast so that you will not miss the auction. You can check the auction progress from the progress bar.
If the auction pool creator enables the refundable feature, you have the option to regret your bid by clicking the "Regret and Get Funds Back" button. You will need to enter the amount of money you want to cancel. Bounce supports both full or partial amount regretting, but note that you can only regret before the pool is closed. Your regret amount will then be made available for public bidding after your regret transaction.
The regret functionality helps prevent participants from getting trapped in low-quality or suspicious pools.
